Year 12 Scholarships · 2027–2028
Entry in September 2027
ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS · 2027–2028
September 2027 will mark a defining moment for Charterhouse Almaty with the launch of its Sixth Form and the arrival of the school’s founding Year 12 cohort. To recognise exceptional academic achievement and potential at this important stage in the school’s development, Charterhouse Almaty will offer a limited number of Academic Scholarships to pupils joining Year 12 and embarking upon their A-level studies.
The Scholarships are intended for academically ambitious students who demonstrate intellectual curiosity, independence of thought and the potential to thrive in the demanding environment of Sixth Form study.
For successful candidates, becoming a Charterhouse Almaty Scholar will offer more than the opportunity to pursue A-level qualifications. As members of the school’s first Sixth Form cohort, Scholars will have a distinctive role in establishing its academic culture, traditions and aspirations.
Throughout Years 12 and 13, Scholars will be encouraged to pursue their chosen subjects in greater depth, develop greater independence and prepare purposefully for university and the opportunities that follow.
Scholars will also become members of the School’s Academic Scholarship Programme, with access to additional academic challenge, enrichment, individual guidance and opportunities to engage with ideas beyond the curriculum.
Awarded through a competitive selection process, the Year 12 Scholarship represents a prestigious academic distinction within Charterhouse Almaty, recognising both exceptional achievement and the potential to contribute meaningfully to the intellectual life of the school.
